Seung Mina appears

It’s been tougher than normal to get to some good updates due to a recent major life event. Catching up on some recent items:

Lost Planet PS3
I really wish they were porting Dead Rising to PS3 and adding new characters. I had a good time with Lost Planet on 360, but it’s not a title I want to play again (at least until the proper sequel comes out).

Hats for everyone
Kingdom Under Fire Circle of Doom has been dogged by terrible reviews and based off the demo I played, I would agree with them. Even so I’m keeping track of the many costume developments just in case there is something so amazing that makes me want to give it a second chance. The packs that have been released are pretty lame, especially since you have to buy them!

Virtua Fighter 5 Online patch and custom packs
A few weeks ago a cool patch for VF5 360 came out introducing a host of fixes. The cool thing is that the patch allows you to mix and match some pants from different costume sets (pants from costume A can now be used with costume B, etc). Doesn’t sounds like much, but it should make for some great combinations. Three other packs that you have to buy are also out now, but I haven’t been able to find any pics online. Based off forum posts, the first pack is pretty good, but the other two are crappy. VF5 360 is still on my “eventually buy” list so I can’t test anything out just yet.

Seung Mina/Maxi/Yun-Seong
Pics of Seung Mina, Maxi, and Yun-Seong from Soul caliber IV have started to make the rounds. Seung Mina appears to have received the upper body boost that all the ladies are sporting in SCIV. It’s strange that so many new screens are being released regularly for SCIV, but not very much for Tekken 6, which is supposed to come out sooner. Odd.

No More Heroes
There’s been almost no time for recreational gaming since the baby, but I still had to buy No More Heroes. I loved Killer 7 and I’ve been following NMH for a long time. Sounds like the game has gameplay flaws and I’m prepared for them.

It would be nice to have links accompanying the news.

I hate reading things like "new Seung Mina pictures" and having to search for them on my own.

Hello! It's been a while since your last update... glad to see you're back.
Anyway, about Tekken 6 and SCIV, I have to say SC's had diddly-squat in terms of updates aside from the very rare screenshot dole-out, and the recent character reveals. While Tekken 6's screenshots have stopped last December on the official site, there are literally TONS of videos online showing the pretty-much-finished game with characters and various customizations/costumes. Check out Youtube, particularly Geesendou Joybox.
I am actually looking forward more to T6 than SCIV in terms of customs- while SC has Create-a-Soul again, no word yet on how much customization we'll be allowed.

Congratulations. =)

Updated the SCIV link. I don't remember where the KUF pic came from. It's been on my desktop for a few weeks.

Marco - I should have clarified, there is a lot of Tekken 6 info and video, but it's all from the arcade version. There has been very little hi-res screens for the PS3 version made public from Namco.

Congratulations on becoming a father!

In regards to costumes in Circle of Doom... there are six outfits for each of the six characters. There is some variation on stances depending on what weapons are equipped. I am personally having some fun with different accessories with different outfits and seeing what reactions I can get online.

Yeah KUF is the type of game I might be willing to give a chance if the costume variety keeps increasing.

Not sure if it was because it was a demo, but it seemed the item drops were pretty generous.

Hey there. Actually, there has been NOTHING yet on the PS3 Tekken 6, but I expect this will follow soon as the International Version of the arcade game is done and out in Asia. ^_^

Really disappointed by the costumes in KUF - just four choices for each character, then some over-sized hats and add-ons that don't really match the rest of the character. Hope they do some better download stuff soon.

Again, Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom has six costumes per character. You can see some character art in the image galleries of some sites such as gamespot with images of each character in six costumes. I can confirm these are the costumes in the game (except the color on Leinhart's later outfits is different)

I have had no problem finding at least half a dozen accessories for each character that matches their outfits fairly well, but some of the cosmetic accessories are absolutely worthless I have to admit.

Heh heh, missed the 6 costumes bit sorry. I was going off an old Gamespot preview and a limited amount of time with the game at a friend's house.

I know it's a huge grind of a game, but it can be picked up second hand for about 20 pounds in the UK now. Kind of tempted if I know some people who are still playing it online.

the different costumes that you can have access in this game are really awesome, some costumes are to hard ti obtain, for example the only way to I can get one of the Cervantes dress was taking Generic Viagra and play all the night, well finally I can get it, there only three characters that I cannot change their clothes Taki, Sophitia, and Ivy, too sexiest.
