The newest Soul Calibur IV character to be revealed is Scheherazade. She belongs to a secret forest tribe. Umm…okay. 
I haven’t seen any video of her in motion, but I’m not too crazy about her look from these screens. Actually, most of her outfit would be fine if it wasn’t for that damn beret with the feather. It’s like they needed something that would make her look more innocent yet mysterious at the same time. The French are mysterious right?

I did not expect this from Team Soul, after what they did to all the other ladies of SCIV...
Is this actually an original character? The hand drawn art leads me to believe that this character comes from a different franchise or was part of some contest.

From the look of it, they had all of the animation and work they put into Link in SC2 and wanted to recycle it into another elf character. Lame.
Yutaka Izubuchi designed her. He is probably best known for mecha designs on Rahxephon, Patlabor, and some Gundam Series (0080, ZZ, and Char's Counterattack if I recall correctly).
I'm personally more exicted about Angol Fear that Mine Yoshizaki designed for SC4. I'm wondering what other guest designers we might see before release date.
Hmmm, she uses an Elvish Thin Blade (not sure whats it actually called)
My guess is that she fights somewhat like Xianghua but less flashy and more direct.
Yutaka Izibuchi is the original character designer and illustrator of Record of Lodoss War. It seems this SC goes to get collabs from some japanese artists. The last character to be included in the cast,Angol Fia, is designed by Mine yoshizaki, author of Keroro.
