…generic. That was my first thought looking at Sonia, the new femme fatale in Ninja Gaiden II. Is it some kind of parody of Dante from Devil May Cry? Seems that way since she’s packing guns.
Whatever the motivation was behind her creation, there’s really no excuse to throw out such a forgettable looking character like this. Maybe she’ll win me over as her story unfolds in the game. That is, if she’s actually playable in it.

Her costume is *awful*, it looks like a cross between a biker outfit and something a dominatrix would wear. I was expecting better from Itagaki.
I think that the concept art isn't that bad, but the actual CG model is horribly generic...

According to the previews I've read she's a CIA agent as well - interesting choice of outfit there!
I really liked Ayane's costume in the first Ninja Gaiden, with the mixture of chainmail and lycra. Hope she's got a good costume for this one (and that she's in it!)
Her outfit and attitude means clearly "Meat on Sale" She´s too obvious, even for Itagaki...
I prefer ayane´s outfit for NG Too.
Oh I don't know, it's a step up from Rachael, who who's just a pair of breasts, with red lips mounted on top.
But yeah, Ayane was pretty cool in NG.
I haven't tried the DS Ninja Gaiden, is there a female sidekick in that?
I've seen pictures of a girl in white ninja clothes with black hair standing next to Ryu in pictures for the game.
She might even be playable!

Yeah the female ninja in white is playable, but only in the beginning which is sort of like a tutorial.
She looks awesome. The problem is most NG fans are weeaboo who only get turned on by tiny Japanese women with anime features.
